finally after 5 months of waiting ive managed to get the corvete home

wasnt exactly the best day to do it and it did take an hour to get it on the truck but she's here and ripe for sorting out

took 4 people to get it in the garage as the stoopid clifford keypad imobiliser decided not to work so she wont run at the moment and for a plastic car she weighs more than the moon but the 5.7 v8 should get her moving as soon as i work out whats up with the keypad thingy

tried to get my lass to do some sexy poses in front of it but she was soaked through and whinging about a cup of tea but enjoy anyway

superb.

When you say keypad, it is the one with the star and the square or numerics.

If it's the star and square, you can get replacements for these for about £15.

2 wires, bit of mastic, job done.

JUST FOUND YOUR THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For info I think they stopped making the stingray shape in 1982,did not produce a car in 1983 so the first of the new shape(L98)started production in 1984

I owned a 1988 L98 for several years---Would still have one if I could afford to buy a ZR1 OR A C5 I can only dream about a C06:cry:

Incidentally for the seven years I had the Vette I never had a days mechanical problem,I STILL LOVE VETTS:D:D
