Just buy some proper rat bait. (the blue impregnated grains) and keep putting it down where they run. Keep topping it up. When it stays untouched for a few days you know you are on the winning side!!

Don't the rats normally eat the poison then go looking for water because of it? so they don't die near the poison as such...

Pure class. However I don't think this is the first for someone on here asking other members if they have got any shit they don't need :).

Just a little update on the little *******s

I have demised 13 of them in traps in the last week

The best kill was two splatted in the same trap face to face,it looked they were trying to give each other mouth to mouth or was it the kiss of death

If you have that many I think you need to look into poison mate.

 

What happens is they take it back to the nest and they all have a feed on it and then they die from the fact that the poison acts as an anti coagluant or something like that.

 

There are several types however so best to perhaps ask at the local hardware store for the best stuff.
