Hello from an ex owner, and can I ask for advice..

Hi All,

 

Not sure If I will be remembered, I used to be a regular here a few years ago and cheeky as it is I need a bit of advice.

 

I've been lumped with helping a mate-of-a-mate with his 300zx which as far as I could tell from the brief phone conversation has gone into safe boost mode.

 

Now its been years since I went near a zed with my spanners, but I was half handy "back in the day"

 

Could someone please refresh my memory as to where the ECU lives and the error codes that flash? (does it "do its flashing" when you turn the ignition on?)

 

Apparently he might have overfilled it with oil, which Im sure isnt healthy, will just have to wait and see..
