there is a joint sxoc/skylineowners club day at the bishopscourt raceway in northern irl on sunday 8th june for there members, would there be any interest from this region in me asking could 300zx club be also inc

we could just have a meet there but there is also the option for anyone whos interested in having some drag runs 4pm-7pm 20 pounds for as many runs as you like, there is also drifting ealier in the day

i will probably be going up anyway,

I'm Cathy and i'm here to invite your club to take part in the Skylineowners.com/SXOC.com joint drag day. Originally it was meant to be purely for skylines and sx's but we couldn't get the numbers up so i'm hoping to have as many Nissans as possible participating on the day.

 

Location: Bishopscourt (Downpatrick, Co. Down)

Date: Sunday 8th of June

 

This event will be featured by PETROL HEADS on BBCNI

 

There is a limit of 60 cars allowed to enter.

 

Price: £10 adm + £20 entry fee

You'll notice with the extra time in the schedule for Drag, Wayne has opted to offer the same number of drivers twice the runs, rather than twice the drivers with only 3 runs each. Hence the £20 entry instead of the original £10.

 

Re: Drifting

You register on your first visit.

For a non-track prepared car (i.e no cage etc..) your options are Test Sessions, Drift practice and Drag. Test Sessions entry is £30 and Drag £20

For fully prep'd cars you then have the option to Race and Drift. Once annual championship registration is £30 and entry fee is £40

there is a convoy from sxoc and soc leaving kfc blanchardstown at 9.30 am sharp sun morning, total distance from there approx 150kms

My wife June is having a small opperation on saturday morning so if June is ok I still hope to make it for sunday. Good luck with the drive up its a long drive and remember to buy your petrol on the south side, £1.17 a litre here.

just home from a great day out, long drive up but worth it to meet another z owner, nice to meet you gary, and your son, and your car is a lovely clean example, and as for those wheels with the little jewels i want a set, they are so unusual i even have a matching necklace, what was the name of them again? you know you have started on the rocky road spending money on the z, lights, spoiler and all the other bits you have planned

great to meet toker(andy)as well, to put a face to the name, if you had kept a z i would not have beaten you in the drag race, although i think you will be be back in ownership of one sooner rather than later, how did your friend do in his runs, the timing was a joke in all fairness, however i enjoyed the day

Great day out enjoyed every minute nice to meet Pat and Andy and cant belive how fast that red zx was on the drag strip was that the stig driving it, and if anthing goes wrong wiyh my zx I could be giving Andy the mechanic a call.Hope to meet up with you all again and keep in touch.

i got beat by a girl :headvswal but it was great crack the wee r32 went well

just started puting a cage in it tonight so i can get out 4 sure on the next drift day

my wee mate didnt do to bad he got beet his first run but didnt do to bad after that it was his first drag day so he was very happy
