top man, I think I need a thermostat or something. At the moment I'm just plugging it into a live relay, but that way it's on permanently even which the ignition off :(.

That would be ace mate.

I think I'm missing the temp sensor that it must use.

Any pics or info would be great.

Just on a side note my fan came with an electric switch witch you can fit so it comes on as a certain temp and also has a manual override.

However it looks like something from an old boiler and has a copper rod coming from it which the sensor is mounted in and I assume a thermostat. You can turn the knob on top to make it come on at lower or higher temps. I'm thinking I will maybe just buy another switch, a more upto date one so to speak.

does it look somethin like this??? if so, thats the thermo switch...its what turns the fan on and off at the set temperature.

Thats a bit like my kenlowe controller, i wouldnt recomend them there (s**t) imo only!

Kenlow have been making these kits for many years and are very reliable.

if fitted and set up correctly there very good.

D

Never had a problem with mine until the day the connector droped off the battery then all hell broke loose

Apart from that, bombproof!

Hi mate

My electric fan is wired up to the perm live via a relay. There is a temp sensitive switch on the rubber water pipe connector which switches it on and off. HTH
