Whats the most power someone has seen with oem rods?

Its rumoured not to go over the 450 mark?

 

What are eagle rods capable of?

I believe that rods are forged as standard.

 

I don't know exactly how much they can handle but all I can say that they can take more than the pistons P)

Im thinking about fitting some eagle rods while the engine is out, but ive been told they dont offer as much over stock so wouldnt be worth my while.. Tomie rods on the other hand are the way forward but are way over my budget.

i have heard stock rods are very strong dont know to what BHP though

Not sure about BHP limits of stock rods but the Eagle rods have been proven in cars with upto 850 RWBHP! (mostly in the US).

A little birdy told me eagle rods were used on a supra with 600bhp and they buckled?

even forged aftermarket stuff will break if you get detonation!

i wouldnt go more than 500 on stock rods and 800 on eagle rods
