I tell you what mate. I have tried to get out there but I think I am too old now and they dont want old blood just youngsters so no go there. BUT! if I do venture out there for a holiday I will hold you to that and might even bring some LED's with me. :D

I will post a picture later of them as my mate next door has got one for he's wife. Might nick them off her tonight when they all go to bed :rofl:

Does the pic let the effect down or are they really bright when switched on, with the shape of the lamp it should work well.

 

The indicators will be a bit of a stinker though, you said you thought about a line of leds alof the air vents, maybe a ring of them around the outer intakes would look good, kind of hidden until lit up.

I like the idea of what you say for the indicators ;) The picture was taken on my phone mate so you are right it aint the best. They light up quite bright and they illuminated the whole headlamp unit inside reflecting slightly off the chrome bits. IMO I think they look good and if they didnt I would have binned them before posting up :D. You may notice that I painted the inside panel satin black too which was essential as the shiny inside would have spoilt it. Once I have both done I will take some good quality pics and post them up. Probably Monday now.

Not a masive fan mate tbh. that said, you have made a very good job of fitting them, and if we all liked the same thing, what a boring world we would live in.
