Hey guy's..

What's the average price you would expect to pay for a new set of spark plugs (twin turbo) ?

I've been told they are £10.00+ per plug

Thanks!!

Dont think there really is a "best" its down to personal preference, if your car is a daily driver id say platinums are the way to go, but if its a 2nd car doing not many miles and you change the plugs every year or so then the coppers make a sensible alternative.

as b19ks said its personal choice, id say copper cores all day long , ive used them in everything from our 1000+ bhp dragcar to fast road, ans standarded car including the Zed for the past 11years and never ever had any problems with them at all , but ive always run a grade cooler than standard,

Barks what is the physical difference between the plugs you can get and the pfr6b-11b, apart from them being copper?

I always use the HKS irridium S40i's on my TT as it is running higher than standard boost and they last for 60K + and work out a £118 for a set. so thats almost £20 each but last 20 times longer than the copper cores for just twice the price.

No Brainer really.

I picked up a set of 6 Bosh super 4 for my sons is200 for less than £20 off Ebay. The alternatives were about £60.

Never held one up against the other, but im sure ive got some in the garage i can go and look at. If i recall correctly the zfr's are slightly longer than the pfrs, but id have to check, but we are talking less than a millimeter i bet.

I "think" I may have bought a set of ZFR7F-11 off Chunk many years ago, now they are the colder copper plugs right ?QUOTE]

Indeed you did, i saw him today and he confirmed it, and guess who he bought them off...........Me!!

Yep I agree, bosch wiper blades are great but i wouldnt touch bosch spark plugs in anything but a german motor. Nissan and renaults especially hate them.
