Did you have the aircon on?

At the back of the engine you have the heater pipes which are obviously the main suspect, but there are also core plugs which are fitted in the engine block, one of which is behind the flywheel. These corrode and get pin hole leaks from them which when pressurised can be quite a squirt. Really you need to check all your water pipes especially if your plenum is still water cooled as well as the pipework underneath ages with the heat and subsequently leaks. Just don't drive it until you find the problem otherwise you could be in to a head gasket job as well.

ill bring it into work in da mornin and put it on the lift and wash under engine that way ill see a bit better and hopefully its just a pipe not a head gasket x fingers thanks for ur help lads ,ill keep yas posted

I you had been driving with the aircon on then it could well be just the drain for the condensation - which would be perfectly normal :)

I would have said that as well Andy, but he did say his radiator was empty, so it looks like a leak somewhere. Lets hope he hasn't cooked it in the meantime.

yea i tink u were rite there the aircon must ave bein on i cleaned under engine inc pipes last nite . just went out to garage now and no water on the floor , had to top in up wit a cup full of water so it dont seam to bad ,i did drive it last nite just to dry where i washed under car so mustave used a drop of the water in rad ,oh and car drives like before (perfect ),
