Rolls Royce Phantom hire - anyone have contacts?

I know, a bit of a long shot to put up on here but if you don't ask you'll never know.

 

I'm looking to organise an evening out in "grand style" and require the use of a chauffeur driven Phantom. There are two companies relatively near me (ie West Midlands) who could provide this service but are charging an arm, leg and kidney for the privilege.

 

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a company (or even a well-heeled friend) who could provide this service. This would be for the evening of May 25th and requires a pickup in Warwickshire, drive over to Staffordshire (Litchfield area) and then back again a few hours later.

 

Anyway - just thought I'd ask ...

    Yes, they tend to only want to do daytime hire. I've also looked at executive hire companies and even approached a "prestige car club" type of business but I don't fancy shelling out £7.5k in membership fees and then pay for a few hours hire ... ;)

     

    Perhaps this is one dream too far ...

    Stupid quiestion but have you tried google mate. Have just put "Rolls Royce Phantom hire" in and it came up with lots of hits.

    LOL! ;) Yes, Google was my first point-of-call and through that I found the two Midlands based companies.

     

    I'm going to speak to some of my Lambo clients as I know one or two of them have Phantoms as well (one even has a Drophead Coupe ... stunning car!) I'll see if one of them can point me in the right direction or be prepared to drive us for the evening ...

I work partly in Goodwood and partly in Munich and usually have one of the Phantom family cars on my drive over the weekends for test work... :D However, I would have my balls slowly removed if I offered to help you out. :(

     

    Le Mans goers may have seen me last year on a test run. :)

    LOL! Not to worry Dave - I don't want to have that on my consious! I've just approached an independent RR specialist near to me who "may" be able to help me out ... fingers crossed!

    It won't be the first time I've been in one. I've spent the better part of a day driving from Birmingham to Leeds and back with a business acquaintance of mine. I absolutely love the car and would probably sell my house and live in one instead ;) As for the rental - no luck yet, still working on it ... Oh and I did contact the chap in question but he's since sold the car and got himself on the orderbook for a Phantom Drophead.

    That wouldn't be Jayson by any chance would it? Thought he sold the F?

     

    It's not for a wedding. It'll be our 5th wedding anniversary and I thought I'd do something special to mark the fact we haven't killed eachother yet .. ;)
