This is the Weber 900bhp hypercar with a claimed top speed of 260mph.

The Swiss-built Weber Sportcars Faster One is a two-seater powered by a twin-turbocharged 7-litre V8 producing 900bhp and 774lb/ft pulling power.

That means the Faster One boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 810bhp per ton – 300bhp per ton more than the 253mph Bugatti Veyron.

As a result the Weber Sportcars Faster One will accelerate from 0-62mph (100mph) in a claimed 2.5 seconds, 0-124mph (200kph) in 6.6 seconds and 0-186mph (300kph) in 16.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 260mph (410kph).

Weight is distributed 50:50 and kept down thanks to the aluminium shell, while power is transferred to all four wheels with a minimum of 64 per cent channelled to the rear wheels.

The Weber Sportcars Faster One features an F1-style steering wheel which has controls for engine mapping and traction control along with paddles enabling the six-speed sequential gearbox to shift in just 50 milliseconds.

The crazy looking Weber Sportcars Faster One features upwards-opening scissor door.

It’s just 45 inches above the ground and rolls on 20-inch alloys, giving a low centre of gravity for optimised cornering.

Stopping power is brutal thanks to the 12-piston fixed callipers which grip the 380mm ceramic brake discs. This helps to stop the Faster One from 62mph in just 30 metres – 40 metres less than the recommended distance suggested by the DVLA.

Driver luxuries include power steering, climate control, electric windows, sat-nav and a rear view camera for reversing.

While speeds haven’t been officially confirmed, the Faster One is going for the title of world’s fastest car held by the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, which averaged 256mph in speed testing last year.

There’s currently only one SSC ultimate Aero TT in the UK and it’s for sale on Auto Trader – for £400,000.

And that’s a lot less than you’ll need to get your hands on a Weber Sportcars Faster One.

After currency conversions, export duty and VAT, the 900bhp car costs a staggering £900,000.

Looks Blody Horrible, IMHO !!!!!!!!

Looks like a load of 16 year old Max Power readers went out and bought a Reliant Scimitar. Then were given £100 to spend on paint & ebay detritus and voi-la!
