That would be unburnt fuel... hmmm nice.

over fueling?

I think your cars been calling out for a check up recently. get it on the consult.

but what is causing it, i think i would have more fun just spraying the fuel pump all over the forecourt rather than putting it in the car and spraying it all over the road, would probably last longer aswell lol

Erm loads of stuff could cause it.

When did ya last change ya spark plugs?

fuel regulator.

I wouldnt drive it like that stella or you could be looking at a new engine soon. Overfueling and borewashing your cylinders.

whats it feel like to drive?

Lambda sensors would not cause that, the fpr can cause it or an incorrect map.

i do have a chip in, will put my standard ecu back in and see what happens, where about is the FPR, is it an easy fix and what is the price like

cheers guys

my mistake sorry.

But i would make it over fuel though for saftey?

fpr. fuel pressure regulator? thats what i just said.

You can order an fpr from the states, but it is better to check if it is in spec first, details are in my sig!

dont forget to wind your boost back down big fella ;)

if the ecu has been in there for a while and its only just started doing it then i doubt its the ecu. most prob regulator.

Id bet on lazy 02 sensor, mine has one lazy 02 sensor and gets a bit sooty on boost from time to time most of the time its fine.

Might be an idea to get someone to drive behind you see if the soot is from 1 exhaust or both.

cheers for that guys, would a consult check tell me if the FPR is fooked, i think its coming from both sides

No a conzult won't do that, the O2 sensors are only used in closed loop and when you stick your foot down they go onto the open loop maps.
