I have a nice big can of silicone and gonna lube a few bits on the car. Its ok for all the bushes etc isn't it?

Also gonna go round all the cockpit / roof rubbers too!

I hope so as i used it for the heater matrix hoses so they would slip on easy and they did !!

i find the best way for roof rubbers/ seals is to spray on rag then wipe on. you can also use it for window runners. have used it for years.

SNAP! I just bought a can of that this afternoon. Never even thought about it before and today I did. :D

Only problem with silicone is when you next wash your car, it will run down the glass and paint and make oily marks, the best way to minimise it is to apply the silicone on a cloth then rub it over a few times with a clean cloth afterwards, if you leave it even slightly wet dirt and pollen will stick to it.
