I'm about to send off an intake plenum to Z1 as a swap for a chrome one.

 

Just wondering how whats involved in changing it?

What gaskets are required?

 

Is it just a case of disconnecting all the pipes, unbolting the coilpack brackets, unbolting the bolts that hold the plenum on and removing it?

anyone know the temp on the plenum when warm? Is it above 150 celcius?

Seriously doubt it - there would be law suits all over the world from people burning their hands off lol

Andy any ideas what size are the water pipes under the pelinum, 6mm 8 mm etc. going to replace them with silcone ones. mine has blooly bust :mad:

do the bypass then you only need 8mm I did mine with fuel rubber pipe did not trust the silicon vac pipe and you can't see the pipe tucked under the

side of the engine but I did renew the vac pipes with si
