So he quit his job, and spent his money on getting the case going. Sadly, it backfired so he's now skint.

I have to admit, I try and compare claims for victimisation today with old men I knew that fought for our liberty in the second world war, it really does not even move their shadows :(

I could of easily slept that long without and alarm clock

agreed with some of the above - claims culture f**kes everyone up. he should have returned to work - it would have been the best way of getting over his ordeal.

Getting stuck in a lift is hardly traumatic FFS if he'd come moaning to me about his "life changing ordeal" I'd have sacked the big fairy anyway! LOL

i dont know employment laws in the US, but i doubt that would have happened over here providing he continued to get sick notes, they would have had to keep his employment open, employers are powerless to a sick note in this country, pretty shit for him though.
