I know this Unit connects to the Auto-Ecu but what exactly would it do ??

It messes with the auto gearbox changes, make them sharper, different place in the rev range etc.

Its an Auto Line Controller, it basically keeps up the pressure in the lines for the auto gearbox, giving a more agresive shift and shaving off a bit of acceleration time.

I dare say it does but that is the price you pay for more speed, almost every mod will cause more wear.

I loved the one I had on my car when it was an auto.

Found it on my car when I bought it fresh in from Japan :)

 

It gets rid of that slow change and makes the car feel a bit more like a manual.

Doesn't make much difference when you are driving steady but when you put your foot down it makes the changes more aggressive.

It provides basically the same effect as when people refer to a 'fast road' gearbox.

 

Anyway, make sure you have an aftermarket oil cooler on there other wise you will probably end up replacing the gearbox sooner rather than later.
