Unfortunately, I didn't really get a choice. My dad was in the Irish Guards and played bagpipes in the band. He piped the lament at Churchill's funeral. He's one of the best pipers south of Scotland and he'd cringe at the way they've ruined "The Hills Of Home" in that vid. I had a go at playing the chanter (bagpipe practice instrument - like a recorder with a reed inside) when I was a kid but soon got bored.

you have to master the chanter before you can even hold the bagpipes lol, i cant play and have never tried, but love the sound of pipes and drums
