ffs it seems to be taking forever to run my engine in - although its been off the road for long spells over the last few months.

that strange AIV gurgle sound coming from below the engine seems to have gone and the running temp has dropped by a few degrees so it sounds like it could have been an airlock like some of you suggested in my thread. she's now running 184-200 deg f (84-93 deg c).

apart from the fooked rear wheel bearings that are going to fail me my MOT if i dont get them sorted, i need to get my suspected manifold boost leak sorted.

give it another 2 months or so then it's 17psi time :duffer::dance::hurl::nana2:

yeah im not taking any risks after the amount of cash ive spent on it recently. the only annoying thing is the tw*ts who expect me to floor it onto a clear road, then tailgate me when i dont, like a cat playing with a mouse. just this evening on the way back from work this audi saloon (dont think its an RS tho) was up my arse all the time - all i could do was bring it up to 4k on about 4psi. i was so tempted to snap the profec up to 14 and say fook it, but i didnt. im sure we both work at the same place, so in a couple of months time, i'll have a little surprise for him, bwuhahahahaha!!!!!!
