hi everyone,ive got win xp installed on my sytem and ive got the wrong symbols,number etc

to get @@@@ i have to press my number 2 key

in place of @ i have "'"

i dont have a pound symbol

my top row with shift read

!@#$%^&*()_+

1234567890-=

 

i think i have the USA text (keyboard )

how do i change it to UK?

    Start>settings>control panel, switch to classic view or whatever it is, regional options, change the locale to English - united kingdom. That should work, if it doesnt come back and ill give you the other way
