Hello,

 

i have a some rust which is on the top of the windscreen, under the rubber seal. Its now pushing the rubber away a bit, and is probably about 3cm along though only about 2mm(visable) into the metal on top. It needs work.

 

I'm assuming that to get this bit chopped and cut out the windscreen has to come out?

 

Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere to do this around Cambridge area? Any ideas what kinda costs I'm looking at?

I had the saem sort of thing but on the rear screen, I used a dremel to grind it out back to metal, then used a rust converter then primed/painted it. This was a fre years ago but the rust never came back. Guess you have to see how bad it is :(
