Hi all,

I'm having a weird problem where my zed's level 1 shock alarm keeps going off for no apparent reason. The alarm doesn't actually sound fully, it's just a quick 'beep beep beep' warning alarm for if someone knocks your car.

At first I thought that someone was messing about near my car (many instances of me jumping out of the chair and running to the window!) then thought it might be a cat or something, but there never anything about (and no, it's not just the wind!)

Anyone got any ideas? It's bloody irritating when it happens just as I'm going to sleep at night...

there will be a shock sensor unit somewhere on the car. it should have an adjuster screw on it to alter the sensitivity. they are normally found around the centre of the car, inside. it could be either screwed, or stuck with double sided pads to something like the heater box behing the radio ect.

what you are looking for, is the box on far right, level with the 2 remotes in this pic. good luck :D

Ta Mario - I think I know where this is! There's a unit like this behind the center console, just below the head unit. I'll have a go at turning the sensitivity up a little. Still - I have no idea what's setting it off! I was wondering if I had some sort of strange wiring issue... I'll give it a go and see if it stops whinging at me... ;)

Wont it go off even more if you turn the sensitivity up a bit?
