just orderd some retrim covers for seats and 3 square metres of leatherite or something along them lines carnt remember the name of the stuff that its made of but what a need help with is the glue i need to used to stick it to the door card and the glove box and so on and were i can get it from it will be 6 weeks befor it is delivered so plenty of time to look for it but any help is much appreciated

Strong Carpet adhisive will do the trick.

 

Get the spray on stuff rather than the paste so prevent lumps and give an even surface.

Just finished re-covering my interior. As well as the leatherette i also purchased some 5mm foam of which i bulked up the door cards with. I used 3M scotch grip adhesive that you can buy either in a tin that you spoon out and spread or, in a tube. This has around 5 minutes setting time, so it allows for some manipulation when lining up the edges. I also went to one of those nasty cheap shops and bought a pack of 20 super-glue for those times where you will need instant adhesion (very handy).
