As you probably know I´ve been having problems with excessive pressure in the fuel tank. I checked the carbon canister with a bypass but came up with the same problem,,so on Tuesday I threw the Walbro pump out and put in a brand new TT OEM pump ...what a difference !!
I thought the car felt slower on pickup with the Walbro pump but put it down to imagination but now going from OEM to a Walbro and back to the OEM pump I have to say they are worlds apart...so if you pump breaks..in my humble opinion try and get an OEM replacement :D
and..after fitting the OEM pump the excess preasure has dissapeard from the fuel tank...so Topless you were right all along mate
cheers
