i know its been asked before but will they fit? what i want to know is a lad wants to swap me for his 18" the fronts have 225/40/18 tyres on, not sure about the rear, i'll be trying them on tonight for a trial fit.

The other Mspec I had a serious gander at was at Grass Hopper Motorsport and apart from it being white it was exactly the same with the RB26.

 

That was probably a one-off custom model made with parts stolen from all the other Skylines that spent the last years of their life there :x:

Have you sussed out how much of your car actually belonged to it and how much came of all the other poor beggers.:slap::x:

bloody ell, cheers for the info its really helpful Mark, i think the LM stands for le mans, theres a couple up here where i live, very nice, i might need smeone to do a photoshop for me on different colours for the wheels i.e anthricite and bronze if anyones up for the challenge.

yep all GTR's are 4x4, but i'm sure the LM has bigger brakes and better suspension.

I think I was quite lucky and actually got most of my own car back!

The RaceLogic traction control unit came back dead so I have a feeling it might have been swapped and the new PCV's I'd fitted had miraculously aged 10 years.

The owner of a local garage I use has a Z and when he was last underneath my car he asked who the hell had been working on it as he'd had to use all his spare nuts and bolts fastening stuff back in place LOL

After that I went over it all myself one weekend as I was a bit worried a wheel might come off.

The GTR LM spec was manufactured for homologation, but only 1 was made. The LM model was RWD producing 305 Hp ( 230 kW ). found this on google now im confused looks like they did a road going gtr lm with 4wd and a one of lm with rwd.

All I will say is the Red one Ben was selling back in 2003 he was asking £11K for it and all the AWD GTR's were well over £15K.

Sort of says it all then really, is it really likely that for 4K under normal GTR prices he would be selling a super rare factory RWD GTR, or is it more likely that it was a GTS with an RB26 chucked in?;)

Your just trying to throw in to many variables. Put it This way The other car I did buy of Ben was A Toyota Celica TDR Sspec. one in sig pic and 4 year later when it was written off it took the insurance company 2 months to find an importer who could get on and he wanted £17K for the same year. I paid £11K for it thinking that it was a Mspec and just a typo. With full action pack. But it turned out to be a Spec. 1 of only 100 made for a racing series. It was ultra light weight 230 bhp and handle like nothing else i've ever driven. So I don't know, but he did only import specials and limted edditions. So who knows and why was the white 1995 R33 at GPS the same.

 

PS it had all the GTR type front end wings interior and spoiler.

Deffo a GTR that one mate! Last I saw it was having porsche 996 turbos fitted. Shame the ****er Hom sold him a head that had been built upside down and the engine threw its gutts :rant: That is a year of my life I would rather not remember :rant:
