I must be missing something here!!! I have followed various threads on how to remove the front bumper from my uk 300zx tt but she still will not budge. So far I have removed 4 bolts from under the front center panel, all screws from wheel arches, 4 nuts from behind the lights, All screws from front air scoop. It feels as though there are hidden fixings behind the number plate panel but can not figure out how to remove it.:headvswal:headvswal. Pease help!!!:cry:

Hi Vijay, Thanks for the link, Very nice. Have removed everything as described but still no joy. It seems solid around the area of the number plate????:headvswal

Can't think of anything behind the number plates that'd be holding it on :( Think you'll have to get underneath and have a look up behind the bumper

look on photo G above the plate there is a resse(spelling) am sure there are 3 or 4 plastic screws in there bud

Might be a bit stuck cos it's a UK, give it some welly! :) I'v taken bumpers off an awful lot of cars sometimes they need a bit of force. ;) :)

Finally it's off!!! :rant:Turns out there are 6 tangs that also attach the damn thing to the car. These are held in place by plastic end caps with metal grips inside. Once removed and after a bit of brute force the thing came away.:headvswal Relief or what. Mind you it has since cost me a screwdriver in the hand trying to remove the washer pipes. Hope this helps others in the future. Thanks for all the replies.:duffer::duffer::duffer:

Hi zx-eyes, Hopefully if this works, (fingers crossed) Here are some pictures of the bumper tangs and clips I was referring to.

Unfortunately you can't use the img tag for PDF files. :(

But we can click on the pdf's you've attached and see it from there.
