somebody i cant think who ,

 

added extra lights ( leds ) to the speedo cluster ,to negate the duller areas can anyone remember ?:slap:

 

i have done a search but cant find the thread :( :xxx:

Hi Steve, i have pm'd you regarding dash leds. You can add more but as there are no extra mounts available, you will need to use a spare 501 holder and solder tails on to get power and then hot glue it near the top end of the 2 dails that need more light. The tails can be attached to the 2 metal brackets at the bottom of the dash for power.

The 5 way leds are far better at dispersing the light around the inside of the dash housing than the standard single flat top 501 replacement you get in car accessory shops.

 

You could also use 2x 3led strips you can get in halfrauds, which are designed for use with outer door handles and stick them to the top of the inside of the dash housing.
