No, not unless you buy the springs already fitted to the shockers or you buy coilovers. Do not attempt with any form of "make-do" spring compressors...eg Vice, Clamps..etc

Sorry should have made it a bit clearer, yes the springs and shockers will be already assembled, is there enough give on the suspension to allow them to be fitted without clamping the springs? if so any tips on the best way to fit please. I dont have a lift only jack and stands, the rears look like they may have to be fed up from the bottom through the hole in the wishbone so may be stuck for clearance. Any help appriciated. Thanks.

in that case, no need to for spring compressors at all. Just bolt on. The suspension arms and hub just drop right down when car is jacked up. You may have to put some weight on the the arms to lever the shock in, but thats it.

Thanks for that. Sounds too easy LOL

Raise both front or rear wheels off the ground while you change the dampers.

This will eliminate the flex on the anti roll bar and make it A LOT easier to do.

Fronts are a piece of pi$$ to do, rears are more difficult because you have to strip off all the boot plastics to get to the top of them.
