Had to have my exhaust welded up to get through the MOT.

Had thought it was stainless all the way through but it isn't.

Now I am off up to blackpool at the weekend and have seen this one on ebay.

Any of you guys had experience of them or know if this is a good exhaust.

I know this is for a 2+2 but they say they can do me one for a shortie as long as I go to them.

What do you think?

phil (apache), has this fitted, it looks and sounds very good, he said it was of good qaulity, his car is also a SWB

give him a pm for more info

They used to make the Mongoose didn't they?

They can do whatever you want if you go there but they used to sell their standard exhaust on eBay.

IIRC it was quite a bit less than that too.

Yep they will make and fit for you to whatever style you want.

I was the original SWB customer who first had one made from scratch when they discovered they couldnt adapt a 2+2 system. I have just fitted it on my second SWB car a month ago.

several other forum members including Apache have had them done.

My mate has one on the CTR and it sounds stunning. it is a little loud tho and the quality is also top notch

hmmm, i need one of them too

LOL!! You can try bud.

IIRC I paid £395 FITTED in 2005 so I still think that their current price is very competitive.

There are cheaper systems available Im sure if you shop around but IMO cheap dont equal good.:nono:

Topless led a group buy last year for a stainless steel system for TT or N/A

around £250.........was highly praised by the buyers.

Why not send him a PM........they might still be available as a one off from the manufacturer.

Thanks for the recommendation, the exhausts on ebay us are virtually the same as the lwb gb I organised and you can get them for about £300 landed!

I will need a new exhaust myself soon, I can't find the one you refer to on eBay US but I'd rather buy from the UK anyway. Does the group buy supplier still make them and are they on eBay UK?

Dave

They are not made by him and he does not have any exhausts on ebay uk only decats, to be truthful they are probably made in se asia, but the workmanship is good and price unbeatable!
