Is there a way to put a route in a tom tom that i set out on a map ???

I know on my sat nav I put the final destination in, and then can enter another destination to swing via on my way to the final destination thingy... mines a garmin though... not sure about the Tom Tom's...

 

basically put your final destination in and press go, then look for another postcode or area and it should ask you 'continue to final destination via this route or just go to that new location'

 

err am i making sense?
