Im only insuring my zed for the summer months and my current provider wont insure me for only 6months of the year without having to ring up and cancel part way through the policy and pay admin fees.

Im wondering if anyone uses or knows of insurance companies that would provide me with such a quote?

Im 22, drive a 1990 TT so most classic car policies wont touch me to save any suggestions along that line.

well i renewed today

my classic policy is with houghtons and was 560 quid for 5000 miles, but my car is up for sale so didnt wanna insure for a year.

They said they couldnt do me 6 months but cut my mileage allowance from 5000 down to 1500 and my premium fell to £260.

I can live with that cos it means i can tax the car, use it untill it sells and take buyers out for tesr drives.

norwich union do a park up term so if you park the car up your still insured fire theft plus accidental damage. sure they give you 75% back on your policyof the months it's off the road. but it's not allowed on the road.
