:dance:Picked up my front mount intercooler today just wondering if it's hard to fit, also a glimpse of my new wheels, I'll get some better pics when I have time.

 

i fitting mine a couple of days ago. was easy fitting the intercooler pain cutting the bumper tho tomake it fit perfectly

Mine is the shark style bumper so I can remove the bottom spoiler that should make things a bit easier, saying that I think I'll keep it off as it just scrapes the floor @ 40mph.

Also had a choice of fitting the abflug bumper but didn't want to ruin it.

Wouldn't fit because of apexi bov's! a wasted effort

Relocate the BOV's to hard pipes in the engine bay :)

Well that's one option I suppose, has anyone done that with the apexi? If it's a pita I'd rather buy or swap for some readybuilt hks ssqv's. :D

Think I've seen it done with apexi's but can't remember who right now.

Can you not rotate the BOV's into a better position if you slacken them off?

I seem to remember moving mine a bit when fitting a big oil cooler.

I'd say it's not worth messing with the BOV's, get the HKS

I tried doing exatcly that but the clips were too rusty and wouldn't budge and I didn't have any wd40 handy but it looked like they could be moved just enough to fit the ic, I#ll give it another try on a nice sunny sunday probably in about 4 months time. lol

Well apparently the Apexi do the best job at blowing lol but you do get bored of the same sound over and over again so I will do that if I have no other alternative.

HKS are some serious money though unless you can find some second hand :eek:
