They need to be pushed through very carefully from the around pintle end Ie use a 10 or 11 mm deep socket and secure the rail so it does not get damaged. Make sure the socket fits aroud the pintle cap end and not on it. Pressure should be applied to the bottom of the injector not the pintle cap.

I removed mine in a vice very gently though! Its the o-rings that make them hard to remove. Use new o- rings when refitting and use some graphite grease or petroleum jelly lightly smeared round the o rings.

Yeah i thought so,,, just scared of damaging them....

also one of the tops of the injector, the little round gold coloured thing that sticks out was slighty bent so i straightened it.... is that something to worry about?

Anyway the injectors have purple tops and are very very dirty one is supposidly broken.

Il take a pic once i get them out and post it up to be sure.

I used a gentle twisting + pulling motion, not hard though, + a pair of good 'swan neck'(plumbers) type pliers, with rag between the jaws and the square connecton block.

I've done it a couple of times now+ it works a treat, if you are gentle.

Drop of vaseline on the 'o'rings makes them go in easy.

Send them with the rail and let the company do it for you. Don't risk it as the caps break VERY easily

Do not worry too much about the brass pin. I have some stock injectors where they are all broken. As long as the rest of the pin is intact as that holds the injector needle spring in and applies a set pressure to the spring and injector needle.

They certainly do! Lol
