Next months Monthly Meet will be at:

 

Japanese Performance Sunday

Wellington Country Park

Of Junction 11 M4

 

This is the second year this event is running, and is sponsered by Japanese Performance Magazine. Its set within the grounds of Wellington Country Park, which is beautiful country manor with a mass amount of grounds.

 

Admission is £5 per person (under 16's is free), and there is catering as well as Trade Stands, and they welcome Club displays.

 

Last year was a great little event and around 300 cars turned up on a glorious summers day.

 

Put your names down if you interested, and ill see if i can sort some sort of club banner out for us, if enough are interested in coming that is!

As far as im aware, it should be the same setup as last year. There was no allocated parking or stalls, its a big open field and clubs generally organise themselves.

 

It opens at 10am, so if people want to meet up prior to going in at say 11am so we have better chance of parking all together.

 

May i suggest the wellington monument on the A33. If your coming from the M4, after travelling down the A33, instead of turning left at the roundabout that leads to the country park, go straight ahead and its about half a mile on the right hand side.

 

If your coming from the M3, get off at Junc 5 and take the turning for Odiham (1st exit if your heading towards junc 6/4th exit if your london bound) and you will see a parking layby on the right. I will be there from 10:40am and leaving at 10:50 with the intention of meeting everyone else at the Wellington Monument at 11:00.

 

If you get stuck, give me a buzz on my mobile and ill try and help you as best as i can.

I do have a guy coming from up north to collect a TT front bumper but he said he will arrive 8.30/9.00am so it shouldn't interfere with our meet.

I dont know the area that well but should be able to find the wellington monument easy enough on the A33. I will get there for about 10.30ish and wait as I have about a 2 hour drive to get there. would rather be early than late. see you Sunday.:D

Am in Pompey, but still not looking to good for me:cry: However, if I do convince the 'Missus' to go we'll be in the "lean, mean green machine" - nope, no zed baby seat so it's the Micra again!!! At this rate it'll have done more SC meets than "Betty":x:

Anyway, back to the question, we'll be even slower than normal - not called "Tail-end Charlie" for nowt - so best if we meet up at the monument.

Fingers crossed, would be good to meet up at what sounds like being a good day.

Well considering over the last couple of days every weather man has said its going to piss it down, theyve all made a massive u turn, and it now should stay nice all day :D.

Turned out a pretty good day after all............the weather was a bit wet to start with but soon dried up and the sun actually came out later on.

The location would have been ideal..........if it had been dry, but although it was a bit 'mucky' underfoot at least none of us managed to get stuck in the mud.

It was great meeting some old buddies and meeting some new ones (new to me that is).
