Has anybody used these gauge pods from z centre, just wanted to know how hard it would be to fit it without having to remove the dash as it says theres cutting involved.....

Thinking of getting some prosport gauges as theyre the closest to defi without the extreme costs.....but i want the centre dash pods which i cant find

Any help will be great

theres not much to fitting it at all. as it says, comes with template. only for 52mm guages though. saw this in the flesh before it was put on the website. if it would have accomodated the defi bf 60mm, i would have had one myself.

defi now do 52mm racer series gauges that do not require the link they just plumb straight in like normal gauges so im thinking of ordering this and buying these gauges:)

look nice but they need you to cut into the dash to fit the gauges:shock:

Thats not bad, although  at the poor fitting in the pics..you can see the glue residue all around it

just for the record. i was present when these pics were taken. the item was not fastened, or glued to the dash. the bit on the right is where the dash was cut out a little too much & was only used for test purposes. was not even wiped down. i hope this helps.

as for the size. yes, defi do 52mm guages, but i want the bf range.

cutting the hole to big isn't any better than leaving glue residue, shame Luke used those pics. The product itself looks ok though.

yes, the product looks & matches the dash very well. think the pics were done in a bit of a rush, but it gives you the general idea. :)

So is that a yes or a no for this being a good product, how hard would it be to cut the dash with the dash not being removed?
