Hesitation after rainfall!

Hi,

 

Don't know if I am on the right track here but I noticed on my car suffered from hesitation/stumbling after it had been parked up after rain. I had my suspicions and thought that the seal between the headlight panel and the front bumper wasn't up to the job.

 

I wet the panel and noticed the apexi filter was wet when I took the headlight panel off, as it sits directly below that seal. Might try and rig up a temp seal to deflect water off and see how it goes!

    It looks pants lol but does the job.

     

    I'd post up my effort but i cant be bothered to go and take the headlight panel off for the pic lol.

    my bucket thing solved the problem a treat as i have the 2 large vent centre panel on mine and it was a pain in the rain, now not one water issue, i will get around to making a proper fibreglass one soon
