there is a connector at the back of the dome where the clocks are, just needs unplugging! not sure which it is though

mine does the same but its when i go past 10mph, slowing down! STRANGE????

Thats down to a dodgy ecu chip, alot of the early jwt chips used to do it.

Take the top of the dash housing off, 2 screws, behind the clocks to the left of the speedo at the back of the dash housing there is a little black box, you can take the connector off and hey presto, no pinging. Doing this though will disable door open warning when the sidelights are on. Hope this helps

Cheers

Think i might just put up with the pinging then. I'm terrible for leaving my sidelights on!!!

You can disarm the speed alarm.

Here is a link to a how to on the aus site, which is currently down.
