God damn it. Just had a puncture on the rear.

Can safely say now that the space saver wont fit over the brembo callipers and brake disk.

Good job me lad works for ATS, had one of the vans on site by the time I had finished breakfast, did have to fork out £160 for a new tyre though.

Got a bridgestone REO50, as luck would have it they were a recommendation on the MOT so did need new ones soon. Will be going back tomorrow to get the other one done.

Yep just the one. Fitted and balanced and the old disposed off correctly

Didn't think it was a bad price for a bank holiday and a bridgestone.

not a bad price for the RE05's ive got the RE04's on the SX.. hold extremely well.. lucky you was in the know bud.. worth carrying a bottle of tyreweld just for serious emergencies

Unfortunately I drove a fair way on it before finding a suitable place to pull up.

The tyre was nearly on it's way off the rim by the time I stpped so no matter of tyre weld would have helped. It is a good ides however as the palaver of inflating the spare would kill me.

Do you remember when Mansel had the blow out to not win the world title. The tyre looks a bit lke that. Good job it wasn't a high speed blow out I suppose.

pretty lucky there then mate, quite lucky you didnt mangle your rim either, cars looking god bud , been a while since ive seen it

Cheers bud. Yeah long time no see.

Are you still doing the alarms and sound systems?

Need an alarm with remote locking.

Thats a shitter daz. But every cloud has a silver lining. Now you can toss that old space-saver wheel away and save a bit of weight instead. Its a performance upgrade! lol
