Hi chaps,

I find when the car has warmed up n I boot it a little, by the time its running at normal/warm temp it is not as responsive. It has higher rpm i

(1000ish) and no error codes, def is not detting when warmed up. when I rev it it also takes a fraction longer for the needle to drop!

any help would be great.

Thanks G

Check the following (think all the how to's are in the FAQ storage area on here):

TPS setting

Base idle

Base timing

Also worth cleaning the throttle bodies and blast some carb cleaner in the idle valve BEFORE setting the base idle :)

Cheers,

Andy

Also look at the cold Idle valve too! Pay attention to the connector that may be corroded and sometimes the unit requires dismantling as the centre pin that holds the rotating plate works its way out.

iv the same prob but mine stays at about 1+1/2-2 rpm and stays there what should a look at cos i dont no whats up ???
