Only had my Z for a few days and even though it's a bit poorly at the moment, I am deffo getting into these cars....reading up all i can on them.

 

But i have noticed that i rarely see articles detailing the 300s *genuine* performance stats i.e. Santa Pod RWYB meets, Trax, etc etc......read about plenty of Evos, Skylines, Scoobs, Cossies, GTiRs and so on...but not much on the Z's ???

 

Does anyone have any links or REAL info on what a Z can do. Please no "my m8 Dave has done 185mph on the M1", i want properly timed/recorded figures i.e. no Max Power/Fast Car type quotes....

 

....Top Speeds, 1/4 miles, 0-60s or 0-100mphs etc.....anything appreciated !

or 5.7secs depending what and where you read!!!

My Blitz ID meter is giving a time of 0-60 4.8sec 0-100 9.7sec.and I had a nice 176mph on there to but had to back off,the car was still pulling.

(but you can do this on half throttle according to one american journalist)

japs are limited to 112mph(its the law over there)

0-60s vary from book to book as do 1/4 mile and 0-100 times

At 380 flywheel bhp (rolling road) I ran 14.1 second 1/4 mile on an auto at Santa Pod.

 

Never ran it up a strip after the chip - shame.

My auto stats from old engine:

Top speed (so far) - 171mph

Santa Pod RWYB - 13.44s

Elvington Airfield Top Speed Day - 13.12s

 

Not had a chance to get to a RWYB since new engine so don't know if the new lady is any faster.

 

Z first and anything else is secondary!

My auto import ran 14.3 at 97.5mph, Had a non standard exhaust and a starvin marvin driving it - Me!

best top speed I have had with S.E chip and Boost @ 14psi is an indicated 181mph, so allowing for speedo error, that still has to be a good bit above 170mph
