hi as the title says im going to be replacing my bonnet and centre panel today, just wanted to know any advise or tips on doing this correctly?

centre panel is easy, just 2 bolts and it comes right off, as fot the bonnett you need to remove the washer pipes from the bottom of the jets, and there are 4 bolts that hold the bonnett on, but you'll need 2 people for this, its not heavy just awkward

got the centre panel off already very easy gunna check my air filter while im at it, thanks for the advise.

if ya gonna change the air filters you may aswell go the whole hog and get an apexi off Dan@DTA motorsport, in the traders section not too expensive either.

do you have link? is this the whole unit replacement induction? or just filter into standard box?

also around the maf sensor is it just the wot looks like cir-clip that holds it on?

yeah, jubilee clip, old style 1, just a philips screwdriver and it comes off, but you'll need to remove the locating bolts under the headlights, a bit fiddly but do-able, all will become clear once you get stuck in, lol

yea got the top of it off filters are just a bit grubby! fag butts and leaves included! lol. i left the sensor on and just laid the top of the box on the side.

 

I know these might sound like stupid questions but how am i getting the washer jets off? i just really dont wanna break anything!

Washer jets just clip out, once you remove the pipes, may help if you remove the bonnet liner first.
