Last Wednesday a mate of mine sent me an email about a job he had heard about. I emailed the agency involved and he called me straight back with the usual 'Please can you send over a copy of your latest CV and we will get back to you...'

So I sent it over anyway and within 1hr had a call back asking if I would be free the next morning for an interview? (it was already 3.30pm by then!).

I went to the interview which went ok, but as an IT contractor I was expecting to get a real technical grilling. None of the questions were too hard so I figured I didn't get the job.

4 hrs later I got the job offered. Total time from Hearing about the job to getting the offer 23hrs...

Not bad at all.... :hyper:

I have been working in SQL 2005 for the past year with some integration services thrown in, but I am getting back to what I do best... I'm a database administrator and solutions architect by trade.

The php stuff I did was just for fun and my own web development.
