Just fitted a set of fleebay HIDs, so far easy peasy, but the up/down adjustment screen just seems to spin round n round, so i'm gonna guess the cogs are shot? how easy is it to replace these? and any idea's where to source the parts. I'm considering taking it into the local Nissan dealer, but i'm not inspired when last time i went in the guy argued with me that Nissan never made a 300ZX !!!

cheers all

There is a guide to do this yourself somewhere, i cannot find it though. I think it might me on the Aus forum. Sorry i can't help more, but 'm sure if you do enough searching you'll find it :)

sorry to jump on this. I had the same thing at my local main stealer. some spotty kid refused to believe there was a 300zx made by nissan. said it was not on their system. told him I'd got parts here not so long back....nope, he still thinks he knows best. :mac1: told he better go outside an look at the big blue flat thing. :headvswal

Thankfully i've just realised its only the left to right adjusters that are shot, and i needed to adjust the up/down after installing the HID, so i'm saved from going to local dealer, well until its next MOT and they maybe funny.... but thankfully my local MOT guy is pretty flexible and last time just passed the car and asked me to get it sorted as soon as possible etc. (mind you he does get to work on all the cars in the family, so think he likes to keep us sweet)
