SPEEDLAB, on the Net

Jap company Speedlab on the net.

Has anyone had any dealings with this company if so any advice, details etc would be very helpful. Better still do you know any UK firms who deal for them.

Thanks,

Smithy, I.O.M

Hey Smithy,

Speedlab = Expensive and slow service, they will get something to you eventutally but it may not be what you wanted :( and it may be broken, but then again you are importing straight from japan after all.

You I.O.M then mate, i was a over there for a few years in the early 90's. Not my sorta place but the odd nice car knocking around thanks to then lightweight taxes.

i challenge you to get a responce from there website?lol

Hi,

I had a look at their site the other day...seem very expensive!

Has anyone had any dealings with Courtesy Nissan or Stillen?Their prices seem more reasonable...what about the shipping costs though?

Come on guys this was not the kinda responce i was looking for, any other ideas, i'm looking for body parts that arn't quite the norm, no what i mean. Oh and the I.O.M. is excellent, insurance only £323.00 fully comp, no one steals cars, (cos there's no where to go) and NO speed limit !!!

Hi,

When I was having my exhausts fitted at The Z Centre by Luke Borg, back in september, there was a black 300ZX from the I.O.M having some bodykit fitted....wasn't yours was it?

Ive ordered from both speedlab & courtesy nissan. No problems with the later (even got a free t-shirt & 'Z' license plates with my order ;-).

Speedlabs on the other hand... I did get replies to me emails (even b4 I ordered). They were very helpful! It just took a f'in age for the stuff to arrive and then the nice people at customs & excise slapped Vat/duty on what was already a very expensive order (I got the Navan shifter, red Z emblem and the aluminium skuff boards).

Im led to beleive that speedlab will drop the credit card surcharge if you 'wire' the money to them.

I WOULD use them again - Ill just prepare myself for the 10 week wait!

Smithy:

From what I remember TakaKaira have a much more bizzare setup...

I heard something bout 'you have to pay the courier directly' and 'its shipped to a whare house somewhere in the uk (warrington I think!) and you pick your stuff up from there'.

But, having never used them this is just hear-say.

Keep us updated as to who you use and what their service is like.

I take it you're looking for unusual bodykits? Some people have mentioned Luke at the Z Centre. Go there on :
