Came home from work tonight and the wife wants to talk. Doesnt think we can live together any more cos of constant rowing. Have tried to talk to her but she is having none of it and feels we should divorce to give us both a chance of being happy (i thought we were ok).

Nothing has happened. No incident has started this, just out of the blue. Just feel numb at the moment, she says she thinks she is still in love with me just cant live together. I feel for my 20 month old too, and I will miss seeing him grow up in part. She is happy for me to stay in the house until I sort myself out.

Guess the Zed has to take a back seat. Sorry for rambling here but I have no-where else to go.

your not wrong, they love straight men.

Check this out, when the gay men bring along their gorgeous girl friends who hate going to normal clubs coz they hate being hassled by men, by the end of the night they all have a bit to much to drink and the girls get no attention from the men so...... vola Here i am the only straight in the village ;)

 A man with a plan :D

This is identical to what i went through in 1989, got home from work one day to be told she wants a divorce. Felt like I had done nothing to deserve this and the world had come to an end. Anyway she got what she wanted and I got on with life, our son was 2 yrs old at the time, had him stay with me every weekend and sometimes in the school hols. I met a fantastic woman who had 3 kids who all took to him like a brother, And I treated them as my own, ex then decided she wants to get back together when she sees me happy again, no chance I tell her, she made her bed now lie in it. Anyways new lady and I get married in Las Vegas in 1998 took my son and her daughter with us, 2 eldest lads had left school and working by this time. Couldn't be happier, going back to Vegas in July for our anniversary. Time is a great healer and what goes round comes round. Keep a clear head, chin up and you will become a stonger person in the end.I know it seem like the end of the world but it will get better trust me.

He understands ;)

Its so much easier and enjoyable

Chin up bud, it does get better in time.

To cut a long story short, my mrs went to the shop

and never came back! (in '96) Left me with little'un, took the car,

cashcard etc.... Was like something from news of the world,

you couldn't make it up!

She's now an alcoholic, drug user etc....

Little'un (now 18), hasn't spoke to her for over a year, never seen

her grandaughter either.

What comes around, goes around.

I know how you feel, I split up with Jane, well shee split from me! Just sent me s text with " There is no more us!" Turns out there was anothe man on the horizon and she wanted him. I am shure you read the posts on it. I am still gutted really, but time is healing but very slowley.

All the best to you bud whatever happens.

Sorry to hear your news Jon.

You must be shell shocked and not know where to

put yourself, especially with the little one involved.

All I can say is, I know first hand that all on here

will be there for you,to try in what ever way they

can to help you through the bad times.

It really helps to have somewhere to vent your

problems.

I'm no expert mate, but things sometimes do

turn around when you think there isn't a glimmer

of hope.

Which ever way it goes,I hope the outcome turns

out to be what makes you happy in the end.

Wish you all the best.
