Bodyskirts

I have original body skirts/bumpers etc. and sometimes find it very difficult to avoid hitting the ground when leaving some petrol stations/mulit-storeys/turning at bottom of steep hills etc.

How do you guys with even lower (and expensive and nice) aftermarket skirts stop this from happening ?

you can't, you just kinda get 2 know where you can & cant go. Just go very slow and at an angle if you can.

I never attempt to go in multi-stories in the Z - too paranoid bout hitting the bumper

Mines standard and i have to drive on an angle across nextdoors garden to get on the drive, When the old boy nextdoor is out mowing his lawn i have to park on the road, till he goes inside!

lol, one of the many downfalls of zeds.

Dont have trouble getting on the drive fortunatly redface.gif biggrin.gif

You cant park on a kerb at all, speed ramps are a big no-no, multi-storey is a no-go area. To get it in our mechanics garage it needs to be reversed in at an angle, it still scrapes the front bumper on the ground though, cant imagine what its like with a shiny new v. expensive front and scraping it along the ground redface.gif, also lowered zeds, how do you get on with them!?

There are some shocking speed ramps around here. You know the sort that you miss with the wheels but because the car isnt lifted, you hit everythign udner the car, never had the nerve to try the zed on any of em, they are a good 10" high all joking aside! you can see the metal in the top of the humps! I think they should be banned.

Surely there is a "spec" for speed ramps. Any standard car should be able to clear. The "council" must be therefore accountable for damage caused by monster ramps....
