Hi Peeps,

Need to get the starter of my Z this weekend & put it back on again. Does anyone have any pics or location to tech pages on this subject.

Just want to know if I have to break my arm in 3 places to get to the damn thing. Been looking on tt net and it's not looking good for my arm.

Eddie, the starter is hold by two bolts

And it's a bit hard to get to the top bolt, since one of those damn turbos is a bit in the way ;-)

Maybe these pages from the servicemanual are of any use:

page 1

page 2

page 3

How long did it take you to get it back on?

Hi guys,

Have now sucessfully removed and put back on the starter.

Pretty easy really once you get under the car.

One tip, remember to disconnect the car battery before removing high power lead off the starter.

See ya

Eddie ;-)
