Send me lotsa "pass" vibes from 9am Tuesday 4th March

I'm off to eat blueberry pancakes and chill while it all happens

It will take my mind off the whole thing

I had a few recommendations last year on work that could do with being done

I've had it all sorted, so my Zed is in pretty good nick

So should be fine :hyper:

Well it failed

Though I'm not that upset to be really honest

O/S front tyre tread too low

N/S front brake grabbing a lot

Hicas bushes/steering connection excessive play

Advisory

oil leak near turbos

front & rear brake pipes corroded

So a few brake issues

Mind you the crap I've had to deal with over the years this is quite minor!

Chatting to Duff the other day saying how I didn't need to use his new garage ...doh! :nelson: .... spoke too soon

Already arranged to get it up there by the weekend, getting parts sorted and well, just getting things done, no point being miserable about it

Was going to do the tyres and brake discs soon anyways, just not quite as soon as I had anticipated

bloody hicas crap, mine are knackered, scraped through test last time, but no chance this time round, but sod the thing lol it can stay like that lol, ill just leave it to rot pmsl

At least you can get it sorted Diane!!

That's a shame.

But you have the right attitude. At least it doesn't sound toooo expensive.

Good luck getting it sorted D...

I'll be able to budget better when I have a better idea when Duff comes back with some numbers for me to work with

As I said earlier, just get on with it and get it sorted (me talking to myself)

Thanks Mike :D

I always aim to be positive and have a "can do" attitude

I'm very proud of myself this year already in what I've achieved in many areas

Not to bad a list really for a MOT.

Not to bad a list really for a MOT.

Precisely! Too many people (not pointing any fingers in any way) forget that these cars have been on the road for 15 plus years and expect them to fly through MOTs and be as reliable as a new car...

Will soon have it sorted Diane :)

Saz, you KNOW yours is going to be sorted so shut it :D ;)

Cheers,

Andy

ive got the dreaded hicas bushes to do on mine, gonna cut the fookers off with a grinder and get the new ones in, no need to drop the hicas jobbie

My Zed is now at Duff's new unit, just got earlier from a nice long train journey back from Rotherham, via Sheffield to Leamington

So now zedless again :( (and have a bit of a vacant head from the yummy red wine I was drinking last night)

Thanks Duff and Saz for putting me up and making me feel really welcome ;)

Btw Duff makes a mean curry; I stuffed myself silly with a scrummy veggie curry last night :D

The vacant head was caused by "Kumala- Pinotage.Cinsault"

I am having round 2 of the curry in just a few minutes lol!!
