at the moment i have adjustable shocks & coilovers all round, but the ride is rock solid, you feel every little bump. i want a set of springs thats going to soften the ride, but not too soft so it bounces all over. any suggestions guys for those who have tried different setups ?

What Make/model/type do you have now ? If its coilovers then you will to replace with new struts and springs as the springs are unique to the coilovers. It may be possible to source new springs from the coilover manufacturer but you can only go slightly softer or harder without having to have them revalved.

I would recommend the KYB AGX and Eibach combination for road use.

I've just fitted non adjustable Bilsteins with a 35-40mm drop, they have a very similar feel to stock suspension, just a bit stiffer, but very comfortable.

In contrast to you Paul, I like the harsher stiffer set-ups with not much movement, and currently looking for a good used set of complete coilovers to change over to ;) .. I loved the HKS Hyper Damper coilovers I had on my blue n/a.. Rock hard :D
