I've just bought my first Z from stenorth (everything going smootly so far Ste. Lower gaiter had come off gearstick and so was a bit noisy in 2nd but that's all back on now and working well ;). The car has the stock Nissan 16" BBS alloys and i'm planning on putting a couple of new tyres on the rear. The tyres on there at the moment are 225/50/16' same as the fronts. I've read in some websites that the rears sometimes take 245/45/16's on the twin turbos.

 

Should i consider a slightly bigger tyre on the rears or just keep everything standard?

Don't think there should be a problem. If you've got a good tyre place near you they should be able to tell you what you can put on the rims. I have 255's on my rear rims.
