Why would you add around 2kg of weight to the boot?

probably not tbh....mine was removed on my last zed for about 18months or so and I never noticed any issues.

Cheers , mate . It`s funny , my Prelude had a light bootlid but a heavy bonnet and the Zed`s the opposite ! :D

I removed mine a year ago - no problems

I took my out but I also took the Rear wiper out.

How much weight would it save to take the counter-weight ,wiper, motor etc?

it's in the boot lid. open boot and take off the middle panel and underneath you'll see an oblong piece of metal fastened by two blots. just un do it and remove.

Only problem you will encounter is the boot lid smacking you in the chin when you lift it up :rofl:

I need to find a SWB tailgate in red with an aftermarket spoiler. I don't want to spend a shit load on a new spoiler and then get it sprayed as I will then need to spray the whole car...
